Kenmore
Art Direction • Information architecture • graphic design • UX/UI design
As the Art Director/Senior Interactive Designer at Aisle Rocket Studios in Chicago, I was responsible for the visual process of overhauling the Kenmore.com website. Leading a small team of designers, we were able to take what used to be a very static and dull experience and transform it into a user centric, engaging, product purchasing journey. Working with the development team we created various animatics and interactions to help guide users through the purchase process. After the site refresh we saw a 37.5% increase in sales in the appliance sector.
I was also a lead information architect, UX/UI designer and illustrator on the Kenmore Community blog that we developed for customers of the iconic American brand. Starting from scratch, I worked with a team of writers, developers and other designers to to spearhead the drive for more user engagement with the brand.
